The National Mentoring Partnership in Maryland 






The National Mentoring Partnership (MENTOR) has selected MOST to host and operate the Maryland affiliate of this national initiative to increase the quality and quantity of Mentoring relationships, support programs to improve quality, effectiveness, and scale, and coalesce stakeholders to expand engagement and investment locally.

MOST is now hiring a MENTOR Maryland Director


The Director will be instrumental in developing the statewide strategic plan, engaging a broad cross-section of stakeholders to support the work, and building a sustainable and effective initiative. A successful Director will build and strengthen Maryland’s mentoring and youth development networks and partnerships, lead fundraising efforts, and manage staff.



8th Annual National Mentoring Summit, 2018


 Will be taking place January 24-26, 2018 at the Renaissance Washington DC, Downtown


The National Mentoring Summit is the only national convening of youth mentoring professionals, researchers, MENTOR Affiliates, philanthropic investors, and government and civic leaders aimed at collectively strengthening and expanding quality mentoring relationships for young people across the country.


This year's theme is “Building Relationships, Advancing the Movement”

Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring,  4th Edition: 

Details research-informed and practitioner-approved Standards for creating and sustaining quality youth mentoring programs and consequently, impactful mentoring relationships. The Fourth Edition, released in September 2015, reflects the most up-to-date research, practice, and thinking in the mentoring field.
